Hecate Drawing

This piece was submitted by an anonymous donor claiming it to be relevant to our current research. It appears to be an abstracted rendition of Miss Hecate with strikingly rendered eyes projecting rays of light. Or are they wings? That is up to you to interprets, regardless it makes for a very impactful visual. 

It is here that I would like to take a moment to thank and remember our archive member and close friend Ick@ck host of the Founderfinders lost media hunters. A dedicated and kind individual who helped us to recover a great deal of our current archive items related to Miss Hecate. 

Ick@ck sadly passed away one year ago today and his memory will always walk along this website. He was a massive fan of Miss Hecate the moment he discovered her, and made it his life’s mission to uncover her original cartoons and design with a persistence and thoroughness that rivaled his peers. 

You know, that’s how we met, I was looking for more information on Hecate and he reached out to me, enthused that someone shared his interest in this lost character. We had similar backgrounds. We talked for hours about our interests and how important it was to preserve media because you never know what will happen and- 

I’m sorry, I know it’s inappropriate to be putting this in an article, I know I should be saving this for the blog and updates page. But it’s just really hard. It’s been a whole year but it’s still. It’s so unfair you know, he was a friend, and he was taken away so soon. 

That’s why I’m so dedicated to restoring and bringing to light Miss Hecates history, for his sake, I think that would make him happy to know his work led to his goal even if he wasn’t there to reach the finish line.
