Fall is Here

Hellum everyone, Happy Fall! Especially for all you skydivers out there.

The Pendog Creative Library has grown considerably since the last update. New character articles and artist biographies, go check them out!

I decided that from here on out I’d like to include my art in updates so you all can get to know me better and see what I do as an artist! After all, love of art is why I created this website. I’ve been a bit burnt out recently so a lot of this is older stuff from my portfolio. Regardless I hope you’ll see how what we research on the archives influence my art style! 

I drew this piece based off of the Millie MoonBeam show…which, if you’ve read her character page, completed production but was never released. Needless to say it was all very disappointing to hear..I drew this based off of R.W Winfields writing and the new Millie Design to try and envision what the show might have looked like! This is my most popular piece and it’s one that helped me meet a lot of people! Some good, some bad, but mostly good! Before then it was just Emma that I talked to (I don’t really leave the house much) but yeah!!! I met some amazing people, especially someone who really, really loved drawing rubber hose cartoons as much as I did (even if they later moved on to different art styles. (As have I)))

A lot of my older art focused on very intricate complex compositions! This one was actually first drawn on paper before being scanned, lined digitally, and then edited in photoshop to add those warm hues to the center of the illustration. 

Every drawing I did before and after this one was on a similar scale which…I would not recommend. If you are young and still have that fire in you please don’t try to make every single drawing complex and “the best” you’ll thank me later!! 

(Also can you tell I really like drawing leaves and repeated objects? Because I do!!! It’s a good way to fill a space!)
