Museum Trip
Heading to a museum that offered us the opportunity to see artwork related to our local cartoon mystery Miss Hecate! Pretty excited!
If I can be honest I have been thinking a lot about this character lately and how fond I’ve become of her since starting this project, she’s brought so many friends together in the pursuit of figuring out her history.
Anyways, museum, super cool painting, keep an eye out for a new creative archive article in the next few days!
A more recent drawing this time but not from me! This was a gift from someone I knew once upon a time. When I told them that Millie was one of my favorite characters they drew this instantly! It was actually really sweet of them…I still hold onto it even after everything.
(From time to time I’ll include art drawn for me/the site by friends! Just to show them!)
I will say this art is a bit out of character for Millie…this is more the kind of behavior you’d expect from Winnie. But knowing the artist's other works this isn’t not normal for them they had pretty dark inclinations when drawing (as do I so I guess I can’t judge) this was one of the last rubber hose drawings they drew too by the way.
I still think pretty fondly of this art, and those times. Do you want to know a secret about being an artist, an online artist? It can be So Very Lonely. It’s true, if you let yourself stick back and not engage with your peers it can be horridly isolating. That’s one of the reasons they were elated when we met online and started chatting!!
