Factory tours were a great source of additional income during the prime years of Bartlebee Brands. Bartlebee would restructure sections of their factories in order for the public to walk through and see how their favorite products were created. However the conditions inside these sections were decidedly not the standard for the majority of their workers. Regardless, it was a popular and exciting opportunity for more well off families to visit and explore as well as an efficient way for the company to market and control the public perception of their brand.
As mentioned above these factory tours rarely showed the greater picture. Sometimes factories would include specific rooms built solely for the purpose of factory tours. In accounts from workers at the factory the chance to work in these sections was highly fought over as they were more sanitary, less dangerous, and better lit.
