When anyone asked about the unique comic character that is Lancer, Pardain would often reply that he was a creature that ate words and called them his home. In addition to this, the Kellbridge Chronicles was proudly described as Lancer’s home, and that the newspapers published were his many houses, through which Lancer was free to wander.
