This decorative design shows how Maisy went through yet another redesign in the 1950s, and it was directly influenced by the popular animation style of the time, UPA. Maisy has gone through the most redesigns of any other character featured in this archive, since Liquid Laff makes it a point to monitor the animation industry and update their characters as needed to keep them relevant.
