Featuring co-star Maisy, this is a poster for the early cartoons of Hobble the Hound. In this particular animation, the two companions go dancing through the valley and accidentally anger the Spring Spirit, Merry Maybell. These two were frequently portrayed as neighbors that got up to trouble, such as antagonizing the local farmers’ animals. Although a side character at the start, Maisy would eventually go on to become so popular that she progressed to co-star, then replaced Hobble the Hound altogether.
